Please have a read of the titles below to assist you with
any problems you may have with the Fielders Online Footy Tipping
Competition. Please contact us if you have any problems that are
not listed below. *** Note that it may take some time for us to
get back to you.
1. Read the rules and terms and conditions.
If you are having trouble with any aspect of the Fielders Footy
Tipping website, the first thing to do is read the Rules and the
Terms and Conditions documents accessible via the links at the
bottom of each page on the web site.
2. How do I enter?
To enter, participants must first complete the online registration
at the FIELDERS Footy Tipping web site and be logged in to the
site. *** Make sure when you register that you provide a real,
working email address that you have access to, and check it often!
3. How do I activate my account?
Once you have registered successfully, you will receive an email
with a link to activate you footy tipping account. Click the link
or copy and paste it into your browser, go to the activation page
and you are up and running!
Note - do not respond to the account activation email. This message
is generated automatically and any replies to it may not be checked
by a human.
4. How do I log-in?
Once your account is activated, you may log in to place, view
and edit your tips for AFL, NRL or both competitions. To log in,
type your username (your email address or your "Nick Name")
and password into the appropriate boxes and press the "Log-in"
button.
5. I've forgotten my password!
If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by using the
"Forgotten your password?" link underneath the log-in
boxes. Your password will be emailed to the address you supplied

6. How do I enter my tips?
To enter your tips, make sure you are logged into the site, and
follow the links at the top of the page to the AFL or NRL tipping
section. From there choose the round(s) that you wish to place
tips for from the pull down box and make your selections, including
the margin for the "game of the week".
Notes:
a) you may enter your tips in advance if you wish,
b) you may edit your tips as many times as you like up to the
cut-off time,
c) if you forget to enter your tips, you will automatically be
given the away teams for that round and your margin selection
for the game of the week will be 30 points for NRL and/or 60 points
for AFL.
7. What if I want to enter after the competition
has started?
Tippers may enter the competition up to the closing time for
round 5 picks. Late entrants will be given the accumulated total
of the lowest scores recorded during the previous round(s), but
not more than 4 points per round.
8. How is the cumulative margin calculated?
We use the difference between the margin you pick and the actual
winning margin. The lowest number (or "difference score")
is therefore the winner. When you pick the losing team in the
"game of the week", the margin is equal to the actual
winning margin plus your nominated winning margin for the losing
team.
Example:
You pick team A to win by 10 points, but they win by 6 points:
your difference score is 10 - 6 = 4.
Alternatively, you pick team A to win by 10 points, but they lose
by 6 points: your difference is 10 + 6 = 16.
